Fortuna Düsseldorf manager Friedhelm Funkel has showered praises on Ghanaian teenage sensation Kelvin Ofori following his bright start to life in Germany.
The 18-year old who signed his first professional contract in the summer, seems settled at Dusseldorf after scoring on his competitive debut.
Ofori scored in the Flingeraners 3-1 win over Villigen in the DFB Cup first round.
"This is an interesting and valuable constellation," said Funkel. "And the way it looks, it brings us more advantages than disadvantages," he added.
The former Right to Dream Academy player arrived in Germany for trials during the club's preseason and impressed immensely earning him a three year deal.
His performances in preseason made him a delight to watch, and his move to the Bundesliga is a dream com true for the attacking player.
"For me, a dream came true," Ofori said after joining Fortuna. "I am very happy that I have signed with a fantastic club like Fortuna Dusseldorf."
