Netherlands-born Ghanaian defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has revealed his admiration for Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.
The United youngster believes adding the understanding of the game that Carrick posseses will improve his game.
Fosu-Mensah, 19, has impressed for the club since making his debut under former manager Louis Van Gaal.
He believes filling the shoes of Carrick who is about to bow out of the game would be a great achievement.
In an interview, Fosu-Mensah said "Well, not a trick but the understanding of the game that Michael [Carrick] has.I would love to add this to my game and I think it comes with age and experience, though".
