Former NDC Member of Parliament for La-Dadekotopon constituency, Nii Amasah Namoale has described flagbearer aspirant, Augustus "Goosie" Obuadum Tanoh and his campaign team as dishonest people with terribly 'bad hearts'.
According to him, they have deliberately doctored his speech to score political points in the upcoming flagbearer race.
Namoale is spotted in a viral video on social media throwing his weight behind Mr. Goosie Tanoh as he is an old face of the party from its very beginning in 1992.
Namoale on various occasions has disowned the video of him endorsing Goosie Tanoh for the NDC’s February 23rd contest.
He labeled Goosie Tanoh as a "dishonest liar".
Speaking on Kasapa News monitored by Peacefmonline.com, he maintained the tape was doctored for reasons best known to Goosie Tanoh and his team.
Expressing regrets for attending their event, Namoale stated he thought "we are all from the same party but was extremely disappointed about their dishonesty and lies . . . I will never endorse Goosie Tanoh".
“I am a very credible person and my constituents is aware of that so they believe me when I said they should not vote for Goosie Tanoh. It’s a learning experience and I’ve learnt a lot from it. I’ve learnt that if you are in competition with someone no matter how good your heart is, don’t assume they also have the same good heart. I thought Goosie Tanoh and his people also had good hearts but unfortunately, I’ve seen that they rather have a very diabolical and mischievous heart. In my estimation, they have a very bad heart,” he told Kasapa FM.
