Footballghana.com can report that Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak is owing its players a month salary plus winning bonuses of 3 matches.
This is causing distress amongst the members of the playing body as they have been cornered by the financial difficulties presented by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.
Every club in the country is on a break with its players staying at home as a precautionary measure against the spread of what has become a global pandemic.
While players need all the financial support they can get during this period, it has been uncovered that Hearts of Oak players are not having it easy getting by.
Credible information gathered indicates that the players are owed 3 matches winning bonuses as well as their salary for last month.
Further checks have revealed the management of Hearts of Oak has not settled the monies owed the players because of the financial hardship presented by the COVID-19. They are working around the clock and expect to pay every player before the close of this week.
