The Executive Secretary of the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers, Ghana(COPEC) Duncan Amoah, has said he’ll follow up on the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) scandal to the letter, even if that wreaks danger on his life as a citizen of the country.
“I’m not sure if he[Alfred Obeng, BOST CEO) were to transact this deal on behalf of his own company he will agree to the details of the deal. It’s a bad deal and I’m sure if the Special Prosecutor and EOCO will probe further they’ll uncover very funny details in this transaction. And in the coming days we’ll petition all of them accordingly.” he told host Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM.
Mr. Duncan Amoah on Sunday raised the alarm that his life was in danger after he uncovered an alleged shady deal at Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST).
He told Kasapa 102.5 FM that his life was threatened by unknown assailants who have vowed to eliminate him in three days.
According to him, he lodged a complaint with the Police on the matter, but that notwithstanding he’d also taken some “personal security” measures to ensure his security is not compromised.
COPEC uncovered an alleged sell-off of 1.8million barrels of crude oil by BOST, causing the state to lose about 5.3 million dollars, Mr. Boateng on Friday said.
Meanwhile, BOST has rubbished the claims by Duncan Amoah in that exposé.
