Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ishmael Ashitey, has donated a sum of GHS500 including 10 boxes of bottled water and 10 boxes of assorted drinks to support the funeral rites of police Inspector Emmanuel Ashilevi who was shot and killed at Kwabenya a week ago.
The Minister made the donation when he joined senior officers of the police service and family of the late inspector to mark one week of his untimely death.
Meanwhile police have arrested one Kofi Seshie, 28, suspected to be the one who pulled the trigger that killed Inspector Ashilevi, when he and his gang stormed the Kwabenya Police Station to free seven suspects behind bars.
The police in a statement confirmed the arrest of Kofi Seshie in Kasoa along with four others believed to have played a part in the incident.
This brings to 11 the number of suspects arrested so far in connection with the cell break incident last week.
