Some Ghanaians who think 'wee' was planted on Prophet Kwabena Owusu Agyei by the BNI might have a case, according to the Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan.
According to him, there was a gap in the arrest because the substance was only found on him when he arrived at the office of the National Security.
The self-styled preacher, Prophet Kwabena Owusu Agyei was recently arrested for threatening and castigating President Akufo-Addo and the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jean Mensa.
In a second video that went viral after the arrest, the prophet was handcuffed and holding a substance suspected to be Indian Hemp wrapped in a brown paper; reportedly found in his bag.
Reacting to this on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Kwamena Duncan said: "I watched the video from the beginning; I didn’t see any form of molestation . . . but when they got to the office and another video emerged of him carrying the weed; my instincts and my thoughts were that people will think it was planted . . . and that was my thinking too because I don’t know when and how the weed was found on him and I am being frank; so there was a gap and that was my worry".
