Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says he is delighted to have shared the same dressing room with great compatriot Michael Essien, Stephen Appiah and Sulley Muntari.
The Hellas Verona midfielder shared the same dressing room with the trio during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
He was promoted to the senior team after helping the U20 to win the World Cup in Egypt in 2019.
Speaking to mondoudinese.it in Italy, the Udinese midfielder expressed in sharing the same changing room with the trio.
“Yes, it’s a religion, like in Italy. In countries like Cameroon, Egypt or Ghana football is very important. I was lucky enough to play many games in the national team, also winning an Under-20 World Cup.
“Then I shared the dressing room with great players such as Appiah, Essien, and Muntari.” he told mondoudinese.it
Badu has made 78 times appearances for Ghana scoring 11 goals.
