Ghanaian striker Joe Dodoo has been named as one of the five Leicester City youngsters who failed to fulfill their potential at the club.
The 24-year-old Kumasi-born striker came through the youth academy and made his debut for them in August 2015
He who scored a spectacular hat-trick on his City debut in a League Cup tie against Bury in 2015.
For the first, he cheekily lobbed the ball over the defender’s head and smashed in a volley off the bar. Surely City had a diamond in their ranks?
A goal against West Ham in the next round raised the Ghana-born winger’s profile even further, but he left City at the end of the campaign, moving to Rangers.
And it is not something City has lived to regret. Early flourishes for Rangers did not last and he was let go after three seasons, having spent his final year on loan at Blackpool.
This season, Dodoo has represented cash-strapped League One strugglers Bolton.
