Ghana striker Jordan Ayew was on target as Swansea City played out a 1-1 draw away to Newcastle in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The 26 year old fired the Swans in front from inside the box on the 60th minute, bringing his goal tally for the season to 4 strikes in the Premiership this season.
Newcastle pegged the visitors back eight minutes later after striker Joselu pounced on a rebound to ensure both sides share the spoils.
Ghana winger Christian Atsu featured and lasted the entire duration of the game for the Magpies but was outshined by his countryman at the opposing end.
The point meant that Swansea remain rooted at the bottom of the League table while Newcastle occupy the 14th position.
