Dreams FC Technical Director Abdul Karim Zito has heaped praises on Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant for transforming the team and making them look strong again.
The former Hearts of Oak coach stated Kim Grant has done marvelously well and deserves some commendations despite not wining any of the two trophies of the Special Competition.
Zito was speaking after Hearts of Oak’s defeat to their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in the semi-finals of the Special Competition Tier One.
“For C K Akonnor I know him very well. We worked together at Dreams FC so I know what he is capable of doing.
“But the truth is Kim Grant has really done a great job at Hearts of Oak. He has really transformed the club. You could see from how they are playing now,” he said.
“He will need more time to introduce his philosophy and it will take time for the players to adopt. But what he has achieved now is very great.
“And I’m really impressed with the work he has done at Hearts of in this short period” he told Zuria FM.
The Phobians have not won any major trophy in almost a decade and many believe Kim Grant will be able to break the jinx if given the time.
