Head Coach of Asante Kotoko, Frimpong Manso has hinted at beefing up their attacking department with at least two strikers to their current team.
The Porcupine Warriors are looking to add quality in their attacking third having scored nine goals from 13 matches, which demonstrates how profligate they have been in front of goal.
In a post match interview with the media, the highly experienced coach highlighted his effort in trying to improve the conversion rate of the team since he joined the Reds. The ace trainer has tasked the management to bring on board at least two strikers.
“You could see from the league table that we are not scoring much and in training we are trying to work on finishing to make things will improve.
But still scoring has been a problem, so have identify two strikers and negotiations are still on going to bring them on board,”he stated.
Meanwhile, Wa All Stars marksman, Richard Arthur, has been a top transfer target for the Kotoko, as they look to secure his services from champions for the second round of the season.
