Kotoko on Monday summoned winger Emmanuel Gyamfi for questioning after he reportedly held a secret meeting with Ashanti Gold CEO Dr. Kwaku Frimpong.
The two were alleged to have met without the knowledge of the Porcupine Warriors which has raised concerns.
Reports indicate Ashanti Gold are trying to lure the player whose contract with Kotoko runs out in few months time.
Ghanasportsonline.com understands management of the Ghanaian giants invited the 23-year-old for questioning on Monday.
The Reds are said to be preparing a contract extension for the player who has become an integral part of the team since his move from WA All Stars.
Saddick Adams, Eric Donkor, Richard Osei Agyemang and Isaac Quansah all joined Ashanti Gold after they were released by Kotoko.
