Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Kwame Kizito registered his first goal for Al Ittihad of Tripoli in the Libyan league cup on Monday.
Al Ittihad managed to qualified to the round of 32 after beating Al Shamoo on penalties as the entire duration ended in a 2-2 draw at the Tarhona Stadium.
The 2017 WAFU gold medalist rescued his side from defeat with a powerful header after the homesters have opened the score in the early minutes of the game.
He joined the Tripoli-based club on a free transfer after ending his stay with Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak after the 2016/17 season.
Kizito was a member of the Black Stars 'B' squad that clinched the 2017 WAFU Cup.
