Ready, excited? Well we are because the UEFA Champions League is back and we are all excited.

Over the next 48 hours, starting tonight, some of Europe’s big clubs will slug out as the 2018 Champions League enters its final stretch.

Tonight, Juventus are aiming to avenge last season's Champions League final loss when they face Real Madrid over two legs in the quarter-finals.

No team has knocked Los Blancos out of the competition since Juventus in the semi-finals three years ago, Alvaro Morata scoring home and away before the Old Lady lost to Barcelona in the final.

Zinedine Zidane, who has never lost a knockout tie in the Champions League, returns to Juventus for the first time as a player or coach since leaving for Santiago Bernabeu in a world-record deal in 2001.

Juventus will be without suspended pair Medhi Benatia and Miralem Pjanic, but Giorgio Chiellini, Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado are all fit to return. Real Madrid have a clean bill of health and rested a number of players in Saturday's 3-0 win over Las Palmas.

Elsewhere, giant killers Sevilla will also take on former champions Bayern Munich. This will be a daunting task for Sevilla in Bayern Munich face a team who have failed to make the last four just once in six seasons.

A 2-1 win at Old Trafford saw Manchester United knocked out and Los Rojiblancos reach the quarter-finals for the first time in 60 years and now face another experienced European giant, one who has eliminated Spanish opposition in each of the previous five seasons.

Bayern come into the game having thrashed Borussia Dortmund 6-0 in Der Klassiker on Saturday while Sevilla were denied a win over Barcelona after goals in the 88th and 89th minutes from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi to secure a 2-2 draw.

All games start at 6:45pm GMT.
