The suspense, ‘heat’, excitement in the air ahead of one of the biggest revelations by Ace Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on Ghanaian football is extraordinary.
The much anticipated video is premiering today at the Accra International Conference Center with the first session starting at 3 pm and already, the venue for the show is packed hours to the start.
The video dubbed ‘Number 12’, puts the spotlight on the various corrupt happenings in the Ghana Football Association and Ghanaian Football at large.
Titled; ‘When Greed and Corruption Become the Norm’, the documentary among other things will name and shame several individuals including Executives of the GFA and referees in the Association who have for years, have acted under the influence of bribery and corruption.
There will be four sets of screenings each day for the close to two-hour documentary; the 3 pm, 5 pm, 8 pm and 10 pm sessions respectively.
According to the documentary, six officials of the National Sports Authority have been caught on video entering into visa deals.
Another 14 officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) are captured on video taking various sums in bribe to engage in match fixing.
Some big shots in Ghana football are also seen negotiating deals to influence the outcome of games of football.
Shocking scenes will be played out to football fans who had suffered heartaches in matches they watched in the past.”
