Daasebre Emeritus Oti Boateng, Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area, has admonished Ghanaians to help the current government fight corruption to enhance development.
According to Daasebre Emeritus Oti Boateng, corruption have over the years taken away the nation's integrity.
Professor Emeritus Daasebre Oti Boateng made the statement in a ceremony to launch his book 2017 Akwantukese Festival which coincided with his 80th birthday.
He used the occasion to appreciate and award some selected media houses for its immense contribution towards the development of the New Juaben Traditional Council as well as the Eastern Region.
Among the selected media houses awarded were Accra based Atinka TV and Atinka Fm. The media village was awarded for its outstanding contribution to the development of New Juaben Traditional Council.
Daasebre Oti Boateng also appealed to Ghanaians to make education a priority to help enhance the effective transformation of the country.
