Liverpool legend praises ''tenacious' Ayew Brothers

Former England midfielder Danny Murphy hailed Jordan and Andre Ayew for their 'tenacity and endeavour' following their display in Swansea City's 4-1 demolishing of West Ham United in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The Swans recorded their seventh consecutive home game win having defeated West Ham 4-1 at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

The Ayew brothers were very much instrumental in the side's remarkable victory as Andre's provided two assists and had a hand in the penalty that his young brother Jordan scored in the dying embers of the game.

Reflecting on the performance of the Welsh-based side, former Liverpool midfielder Murphy, who was Match of the Day pundit, hailed the Ghanaians for playing key roles in the heavy victory.

"(Carlos Carvalhal) got a super performance from the team but these two really looked like they had a point to prove, especially Andre Ayew of course because he's a former West Ham player," he said.

The game was Andre's second full debut in a Swansea jersey as he run throughout the game but ultimately was involved in three of their goals while Jordan continued his terrific performance for Carlos Carvalhal's side, and Murphy believe they were right up there be handed the Man of the Match accolade.

Swansea will travel to the Kirklees Stadium to face off against Huddesfield on Saturday.
