Former President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday, May 16, 2020, joined a virtual party to celebrate the birthday of his Nigerian pal Dele Momodu.
The celebrated Nigerian media mogul and politician turned 60 and could not hold back a celebration despite the ban on social gatherings due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A virtual party was held with top Nigerian politicians, businessmen and celebrities joining the party via zoom.
According to Nigerian media reports, the event was attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Ghanaian President, John Mahama, Liberia’s Vice President, Jewel Taylor, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and a number of Nigerian celebrities.
Dele Momodu who is the publisher of Ovation International Magazine became popular within the Ghanaian political circles when he vigorously embarked on a campaign to get then-President John Dramani Mahama re-elected in the 2016 elections.
A campaign aimed at selling Mr. Mahama to win the election was launched by Dele Momodu, taking him round all regions in the country to showcase the legacy projects of his friend.
