Asante Kotoko’s quest to constitute a Board as directed by the Ghana Football Association Club Licensing Board hit another setback as Manhyia rejected the members proposed by the Executive Director of the club Dr Kwame Kyei.
Dr Kwame Kyei had presented the following personalities to Manhyia as Board members: Dr Kwame Kyei, Nana Gyembibi Coker, George Amoako, Nana Boakye and Ankobeahene.
The list presented was rejected by the Chief of Staff of Manhyia, Kofi Badu according to a report by FOX FM.
Asante Kotoko were supposed to submit the names to the Club Licensing Board on 3 April, 2020 on deadline day.
The Porcupine Warriors have failed to meet the deadline of the Club Licensing Board on two occasions and may face demotion from the Ghana Premier League and also fined Ghc 20,000.
According to reports in the local media, Manhyia has written on behalf of the club to the Ghana FA requesting for an extension to constitute a proper Board.
