Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak Mark Noonan his outfit's kit sponsorship deal with English sportswear giants Umbro will go down in history as of the best deals in Ghana football history.
According to him, the partnership is a good one which both sides will benefit and also raise the status of the club.
“Accra Hearts of Oak will be one of the best branded clubs in Ghana football history by this partnership deal with Umbro," Mr. Noonan told FOX FM.
He explained that the kits haven’t arrived because production of these world-class brands takes time and the club is likely to receive them anytime soon.
The American Marketing guru added that Hearts of Oak will buy the replica jersey from the manufacturers at a wholesale price and sell them to their supporters, which is a practice done everywhere. He made mention of this when he was asked whether Hearts were going to pay for the production cost of the jerseys.
Noonan threw a jab at arch-rivals Asante Kotoko for making the Umbro deal look like a bad one. He said, “Asante Kotoko fans feeling jealous about the Umbro deal."
