Ghanaian midfielder Maxwel Ankomah has joined AEZ Zakakiou in Cyprus from Omonia Aradippou.
The 25-year-old signed a one year deal with the club after excelling at Aradippou last season. He joins the second division side with the objective of helping them secure top-flight promotion.
The versatile midfielder passed through the ranks of Accra based division two side Narita Football Club before joining the moving to Cyprus.
His performances in the lower tiers of Cyprus has seen him earn moves from Peek to Arradippou before joining AEZ Zakakiou.
Zakakiou finished fifth last season in the second division the Cypriot League.
The Ghanaian is expected to play a starting role in the coming season for his new side.
