The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has reviewed the distribution process of its reactivated prepaid vending cards for customers.
According to the state-power distributor, the review is to help reduce congestion at its Project Office at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange.
Speaking to the media, the Managing Director of ECG, Ignatius Samuel Boakye Appiah said customers who are yet to submit their affected cards must do so at the ECG District Office in their various localities.
The centres include Kaneshie, Achimota, Korle-Bu and Dansoman District Offices.
Management of the Power distributor says the centres will serve as a central point“where customers whose cards are dysfunctional will contact for the reactivation of their cards to enable them to vend”.
It has therefore apologised for the inconvenience caused to customers and assured that “every effort is being made to immediately resolve this challenge”.
