In-form Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori has emerged as a transfer target for South African giants Orlando Pirates, according to local reports.
Pirates wants to sign the Maritzburg number 1 to solve their goalkeeping department, which is suffering due to the poor form of first-choice shots topper Brilliant Khuzwayo.
Manager Milutin Sredojevic has identified Ofori as the best choice to replace Khuzwayo.
The Ghanaian has been splendid for Maritzburg in the South African topflight and has been his club’s best player keeping several clean sheets despite the team still wallowing in the drop zone.
Pirates could pay not less than $500,000 to the “Team of Choice” in order to get the Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper.
