The National Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Managing Editor for the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, could not help but openly applaud NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Ledzokuku Constituency, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye for his nationalistic-based comments he passed regarding the closure of two Accra-based radio stations affiliated with the NDC.
Radio Gold and Radio XYZ were shut down by the National Communication Authority Thursday afternoon.
The two stations were handed letters detailing the reason behind the order and asked to re-apply for a fresh license if they still wished to operate as Frequency Modulation (FM) radio stations.
On Friday’s edition of Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo’ programme, all the panel members gave their take on the issue.
It seems that of Dr Okoe Boye stood tall as he received a standing ovation for it.
So what exactly did he say???
