The box-to-box midfielder believes the Phobians will defeat the Porcupine Warriors in the Super Clash this weekend. Hearts of Oak midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim believes they will maintain their unbeaten run at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi when they face Asante Kotoko in the first leg of the Super Clash on Sunday.

In the wake of a documentary by undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas to expose match-fixing, bribery and corruption in football in June, all activities related to the game in the country were indefinitely suspended by government.

However, following Fifa's decision to set up a normalisation committee government has given the two clubs the green light to engage in the two-legged tie.

“There is no pressure on us ahead of the game. We are taking it cool at training as we prepare for Kotoko on Sunday," Samudeen told Ghanasoccernews.com.

"I think matches against Kotoko are my easiest among other games. It's the supporters that normally hype the game with their expectations and predictions but we the players always take it cool and since we've not lost in Kumasi for a long time, the tradition will continue.

“Playing against Kotoko in Kumasi is always an added advantage for us because we always consider the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as our home ground and therefore we promise to silence them,” he added.

The second leg will also be honoured at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on September 2 since Accra Sports Stadium, which is the home of Hearts of Oak, is still under renovation.
