Several top clubs have been out on red alert after Al Ahli striker Asamoah Gyan revealed he will decide his future by the end of April.
The 31-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the season when his loan deal expires at the Dubai-based side.
The Ghana international, who is originally owned by Chinese side Shanghai SIPG, has revealed he may not be renewing his contract.
He told Ghanaian radio station Hot FM on Wednesday that he will decide his future a month to the end of the current season.
“Now I am focused on getting my fitness back. I want to enjoy my game. At the end of the season, I will know what to do," he said
“I will be free after this season and will start making decisions. Whether I will stay or move on.
“I will take the decision a month to the season. I will take the decision at all cost."
Gyan has scored four goals in 11 matches in an injury-ravaged campaign.
