The Ghana Premier League Match Week 3 encounter between Hearts of Oak and Ebusua Dwarfs will be shown live on TV, the GFA has confirmed.
The crucial encounter sees two struggling sides clash on Sunday, January 12, in search of their first win of the league season.
Footballing fans who can’t make it to the Accra Sports stadium to watch the encounter due to various reasons can now enjoy the action live on TV courtesy StarTimes.
The Chinese TV broadcaster completed a deal to broadcast live Ghana Premier League and FA Cup matches for the next five years in a deal worth a little over $5million.
According to the Communication Director of the GFA Tamimu Issah, it has been agreed that StarTimes will broadcast the Hearts vs Dwarfs encounter.
“We have 9 matches coming up this weekend, with the first one starting on Saturday…however StarTimes will show live the Hearts of Oak vs Dwarfs game,” he told Accra based Asempa FM.
He has however hinted that going forward, StarTimes could show more than one match on TV.
