Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, has launched another scathing attack on investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, by alleging that Anas signed a deal with MTN in 2013.

Threatening that some companies will collapse in due time, the outspoken lawmaker charged telcos in Ghana, namely Tigo, Airtel, Glo and Vodafone to enquire from MTN what contract they signed with the investigative journalist in 2013.

“Tigo, Airtel, Glo, Vodafone should go and ask MTN what contract they signed with Anas in 2013 It will come up. Companies will fall in this country”, Mr Agyapong claimed.

Describing fans of the Tiger Eye Pi icon as ‘bogus’, Kennedy Agyapong also alleged that Anas tried to set up Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako.

“Ask about the individual who contracted him (Anas) to investigate and set up Chairman Wontumi, using women. So that he (Anas) will show it publicly and collapse Wontumi’s business. If your hero is Anas, you are bogus because he is corrupt. He is very wicked”, Mr Agyapong lashed out.

Kennedy Agyapong began a solo campaign against Anas Aremeyaw Anas the moment the latter announced the premiere of his latest expose dubbed ‘Number 12’, which has detailed coverage of corrupt practices within the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

‘Number 12’ will be premiering on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC). Similar events will be held in Kumasi, Tamale and other cities.
