It was beyond shocking, the exposé produced by BBC’s Africa Eye documentary that showed explicitly, the unruly behavior of some prey lecturers with some vulnerable students.

The investigative piece which essentially was targeted at revealing the practice of ‘Sex for grades’ on several university campuses shook the very foundations of the two main countries captured in there.

More bizarre were the mannerisms of these lecturers and the so called pick-up lines they were using to as it were, toast these girls.

Outrage poured from several parts of the world, particularly among Ghanaians and Nigerians with other victims emerging to subtly tell their stories.

But of course, many others didn’t fail to take note of ‘key vibes’ these men used on their preys as captured in the exposé.

The four lecturers captured;

Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu of the Department of European Languages and Integrated Studies, Faculty of Arts and Dr. Samuel Oladipo, Department of Economics at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Professor Gyampo, Head of European Studies and Dr Paul Kwame Butakor a lecturer at the Department of Teacher Education of the School of Education and Leadership, had their own lines, many which have been described as ‘foolish’ and immature especially by some social media users.

The severity of the issue has not been left out as bashes continue to emerge from all directions, targeted at the exposed persons and others who still remain hidden.

Meanwhile, the University of Ghana, yesterday released a statement stating, the two lecturers filmed have been interdicted. The statement copied to Ghanaweb added that two lecturers will be invited by the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee for investigations.

Similarly, the University of Lagos has also suspended Mr Boniface Igbeneghu.

But the lyrics used by these men have remained engraved in the memory of Ghanaians, most of them trending on social media, here’s a list of them:

How many guys have told you are beautiful today?

Have you ever been kissed violently before?

The cold room experience

You are my baby, my daughter

Be obedient

I want to direct you properly

Do you want me to kiss you

Switch off this light, lock the door, I’ll kiss you for a minute

You’re sweet, Fine babe

Be my side and I will be your side

I’ll grab you and kiss you here and by the time I’ll release you, you’ll see all the shyness gone

I want you, it is my duty to be bold enough to tell you

Come close to me, sit down

Let me just hug you

You are not beautiful, you are a very beautiful girl

Dear angel, you look like an angel

You are so stiff as if you are a baby

Just talk to me freely, feel free

There’s nothing that doesn’t have benefit

I want to love you

Stop pushing yourself away if you are going to be my wife

Sleep and grow fat a bit for me so that when I hold you, it shouldn’t be as if I’ve hurt you

Are we in agreement that you’ll be my girlfriend till we are ready to marry

Are we doing this? Talk to me, don’t be shy

Can you hug me before you go?
