Inter Allies got off to a flying start in the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League when they thumped Bechem United 3-0 at the Tema Park. An inspired second half performance saw Victorien Adebayor securing a brace plus a Daniel Amofa opener to give Inter Allies what was an emphatic victory.
Inter Allies coach, Kenichi Yatsuashi was full of praise for his team. He admitted that, his players can improve with time. “We had to defend a lot. Our plan changed in the second half and we finished our game as planned. We have the next game to prepare for.
“We have a lot of room for improvement. Fitness is only one aspect of football. It is important but that is not the only thing. We have to improve our fitness and not only our fitness but our over gameplay”
The Japanese trainer was also lauded his two goal-hero Victorien Adebayor. “He is young and his job is to score goals like he did. He has a lot of task to perform as well. There is a lot of room for him to improve because he is a very talented player”
