Presidential aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nurudeen Iddrisu says he had a hectic experience during the party’s vetting but is confident he will sail through.

He said, even though he was grilled by the vetting committee they seem to have bought his presidential policies for the party.

He also hinted that he will start his campaign as soon as possible to share his policies ahead of February 23, 2019.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Janury 22, 2019 successfully vetted all its seven flagbearer aspirants.

Speaking to the media after his vetting, Nurudeen Iddrisu said “It was hectic. I was grilled but it went well. It was about myself and Ghana and I was taken through a hectic segment but in the end, it went very well.”

The businessman was the fifth person to file to contest the presidential primaries of the leading opposition party the National Democratic Congress with a promise to empower the youth and the party at large.

The party had revised its timetable for the election of a presidential candidate for the 2020 elections, having been hit by a legal suit.

The last agreed date of January 26, 2019 has been rescheduled to February 23, 2019.

As per the new timetable, the results of the vetting will be made available the next day after vetting to pave way for balloting and appeals.
