Maverick Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has indicated that he will campaign against his party the New Patriotic Party (NPP) if they misuse the country’s money.

According to him, he will be happy if people vote against a ‘corrupt’ NPP and bring in an incorruptible government who are ready to rule and use Ghana’s money to develop the country.

Speaking on Adom TV’s Badwam on Tuesday, Mr. Agyapong said he knows the Nana Addo-led government will not meddle in corruption but engage in project and policies which bring value for money.

“However, I will not keep quiet when I see any rot in this NPP government. I will campaign fervently against the party and I will be happy if Ghanaians vote against us over corruption”, he stated.

In his view, Ghanaians must be psychic up to vote against any government who will not help the country until there is an incorruptible government with genuine plans and policies to govern.

Kennedy Agyapong noted that corruption was the reason why the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government was booted out so it will be prudent for the NPP government to use the country’s money judiciously for the benefit of all.

“The citizens are tired of bad governance and corruption but I know the Nana Akufo Addo government will deliver on its promises and make Ghana a better place”, he said.
