Winful Cobbinah has been adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the 2016/17 MTN FA CUP
Accra Hearts of Oak star Winful Cobbinah has dedicated his Most Valuable Player Award for the 2016/17 MTN FA CUP competition to Hearts fans.
The midfielder beat off competition from Kotoko’s Saddick Adams and Isaac Amoah from Amidaus Professionals to win the coveted award.
Cobbinah took home a citation, a refrigerator and a Flat-screen Television.
"This is for the fans," Cobbinah told the club’s official website.
"I am dedicating the award to Hearts fans and my teammates. We did not get the trophy last season and we have not forgotten that fact but getting this personal award makes me happy. But I want to give it to the fans. They deserve the award. I thank all Hearts fans for the support they have showered on me. I want them to continue like that for the whole team.
"I am also happy that our fans were awarded the Best Supporters Award. We, the players, recognize and appreciate their support and I am pleased that they also go home with something."
