Dumsor in ghana needs all hands on deck. The money needs to be channeled straight to the foreign companies coming in to set up energy solutions. Legal brians here must be dedicated to one purpose. Clearing all bottle necks that impede the delivery of this power initiative,.making sure the cash goes to those actually doing the job and prosecuting these nefarious pseudo criminals. Whose only objective lies in stalling Ghana's infrastructural development. To satisfy their insatiable appetite for stealing

I agree. And I bet you come autumn the crisis will still be with us. What does a legal brain know about electricity? NDC are letting their romantic emotions overrule their logical thinking. It is good to see a Ghanaian doing very well on America but I don't think she is capable of resolving the intractable issue of erratic energy supply facing Ghana today because of her lack of experience in the energy field

I think she is playing the mediator role to monitor the use of the funds...she will report to MCC on the project. But let's face it.This dumsor is a headache to all Ghanaians and instead of the 'captains of industry, technocrats'as you rightly said should be the voice at this time and not politicians alone. We have politicize, and have polarize everything including even the way we walk and drive. But nobody hold press conference or workshops to offer suggestions and possible solution. Most Press conference in Ghana recently are just to incite political tension. We have failed as a nation not only the political governments, but all 'booklongs'in Ghana. Now that our engineers, legal brains(most dangerous intelletuals in Ghana),and the technocrates keep failing us,how won't you expect legal brains from abroad to show their prowess.I am suggesting we begin to hire foreign CEO to manage our strategic sectors soonest.

Is really encouraging to read articles of this sort, but it seems the authorities in power, past and present are to blame for the power crisis and other progressive development issues in Ghana. There are so many Ghanaian born experts in almost all the professional branches in the diaspora, but the politicians in the country have formulated the country's constitution in a way that it bares all those foreign grown children from taking up employment in Government bodies. I wonder why the country's constitution prohibits Ghanaian born kids but engages overseas companies to the country on contract basis at exhorbitant fees. It does not make sense. An example is myself. I just can't believe is not possible to take up a Government appointment just because I have a foreign passport, though the country of birth in the passport is Ghana. This is absolute insane. We can all help to build our country of birth, but due to corruption, the politicians at home have formulated the laws in the country to just favour them. Is sad.

Every government worker (Civil Servants) MPs and Ministers all and their families have to declare assets. This is one way corruption will end in Ghana. Please Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, a rising star among some of the United States’ top legal brains, this is where your help is needed.
