The Teachers and Nurses allowances which have ben restored by Nana Akufo Addo is meritorious and must be commended by all Ghanaians,but the problem is that, Nana Akufo Addo should not have authorirised the arrears of two years payment to the teachers and Nursing Trainees,the huge amount involved more than 2 billion Ghana Cedis is too big for Ghana to bear.The immediate President Mr Hamidu Mahama must be held responsible for the payment of this sum of money for the manner he handled the situation.He has caused a big scandal for failing to support the poor women and men who desired to undertake to training of the Nursing and Teaching professions to the disadventage of many such men and women who wanted to join the profession.
