Genoa midfielder Isaac Cofie is reported to have emerged as a summer transfer target for Parma and Empoli.
The former Chievo Verona enforcer's contract with the Rossoblu will end in the summer, but he is expected to ink an extension - which will make him one of the longest-serving members of the club after joining as a teenager nine years ago.
But according to reports coming out from the Italian media, Parma and Empoli are considering making a last-minute attempt to usurp Genoa’s attempts to keep the 26-year-old defensive midfielder.
Cofie rose through the Genoa Youth team (Primavera) and has established himself as an important member of the first team.
He has been capped once by Ghana’s senior national team.
