Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed marked his second debut for Anzhi Makhackala in the Russian top flight as they beat Ural.
The 28 year old midfielder who resigned for the club after almost two years out with an injury lasted the entire duration of the game but picked a booking in the 52nd minute.
Paul Viorel Anton fetched the only goal of the game for Anzhi Makhackala as they began the season with victory on the first day.
Rabiu Mohammed was impressive in the heart of midfielder, sweeping off all Ural's attack and setting up well with Anzhi's forward with his accurate passes.
The midfielder is looking forward to regaining his amazing form that made him a regular for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
