Good: Kasim Adams - It was undoubtedly the centre-back's best game yet for TSG Hoffenheim as they played out a 1-1 draw with Schalke 04 in the German Bundesliga on Saturday. The 23-year-old, who picked up an 88th minute yellow card, held a strong presence in Die Kraichgauer's three-man backline, providing a solid cover on the right. It was his fifth league appearance since transferring from Swiss side Young Boys in the summer.

Bad: Baba Rahman - While Adams strut his stuff for TSG, compatriot Baba Rahman was not even listed by Schalke in their matchday squad. It continues a bad run for the on-loan Chelsea full-back who has made only two league appearances for the Royal Blues all season.

Good: Thomas Partey - The midfielder once again showed just why he deserves more playing time at Atletico Madrid as they came from behind to snatch a 1-1 draw with Girona in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday. He formed a solid partnership with Spain ace Rodrigo Hernandez as the Rojiblancos fought their way back to score in the 82nd minute to share the spoils. He was yellow carded in the 72nd minute.

Good: Mubarak Wakaso: In the absence of club mate and compatriot Patrick Twumasi, who was once again left out of the matchday squad, Wakaso put up a good show on Sunday, his efforts helping Deportivo Alaves to a 1-1 draw with Sevilla in the Spanish La Liga. The former Villarreal man was ultimately replaced by Darko Brasanac in the 74th minute.

Good: Kwadwo Asamoah - The utility man gave a decent account of himself on Sunday as Inter Milan and AS Roma settled for a 2-2 draw in the Italian Serie A. His 12th league appearance for the Nerazzurri, the 29-year-old picked up a yellow card in the 48th minutes. He was an overlapping threat down the left and equally provided just enough cover in defence.
