Wakaso could leave Alaves
Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Spanish side Getafe is readying an offer to poach Ghanaian international Mubarak Wakaso from Deportivo Alaves.
The La Liga side is bent on boosting their midfield and has made it clear that they want to sign a player that can stabilize that department of their team.
They recently contacted Real Zaragoza to sign Nigerian player James Igbekeme but dropped their interest following high demands from the club.
Checks have now revealed that they are turning their attention to Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso who they believe have the potential to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
Getafe manager Jose Bordalás is a big fan of Wakaso and is hoping the club get to sign him before the summer transfer window ends.
Mubarak Wakaso was part of the Black Stars team that represented Ghana at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and looks in good shape going into the 2019/2020 season.
