The Ghana National Police Service has organised a Pull out Ceremony in honour of retired ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell at the Parade grounds of the National Police Training School in Accra.
The colorful ceremony marked the end of her thirty-nine years’ in the Police Service. ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell was enlisted into the Police Service on April 14, 1980 and graduated as the Best Recruit at the end of her training.
The Pull out ceremony for the Assistant Commissioner of Police was graced by the first female Commissioner of Police Madam Jane Donkor, ACP Akrasi Mensah, ACP Lydia Donkor, some senior and junior Police Officers, the police band, police recruits and well-wishers. The ceremony saw a colorful display by an all-female guard led by DSP Hannah Adjei from the Ghana Police Service.
Farewell Remarks
ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell after her thirty-nine years of service was lauded for her immense contribution to the Police Service. She received citations from the management and staff of NPTS, the Police Central Band where she assisted in composing a school anthem for the NPTS.
There were other citations by the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) where she assisted in tracking hard to find information needed for report writings. The Detective Training Academy and the Ghana-West Africa Program to Combat AIDS and STI (WAPCAS) also complimented her for the passion and dedication exhibited in her line of service.
The Recruit mates of retired ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell described her as smart and very brilliant, she was never purebred regardless of the cumbersome nature of their work schedule.

ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell holds a Certificate in Criminal Justice and Police
Management from the University of Leicester and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She rose through her ranks and retired as an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
She was the Divisional Commander at Manhyia Kumasi in the Ashanti Region from July 2013 to November 2014.

On the international front, ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell served as Chief of Staff for the UN Police in two United Nations Missions in Liberia from 2010 to 2012
Under her service, ACP Deborah Addison-Campbell trained about five thousand even hundred and twelve recruits and some fifteen thousand youth under the Youth and Employment Module for Community Protection. On infrastructural development, she led the construction of the Parade grounds Dias, new outdoor kitchen for the Recruits Mess, the completion of the John Kudalor Block Classrooms among several achievements.

In her farewell message, she advised Police personnel to be diligent, determined, focus and demonstrate perseverance in their course of work.
