Forward Asamoah Gyan will make a return to the NorthEast United team ahead of their ISL game against Kerala Blasters on Saturday.
The legendary Ghana international has recovered from an injury that ruled him out for three weeks, missing crucial games for NorthEast Uniited.
However, coach Robert Jarni has confirmed the striker's return from injury and could make the starting line up for the misfiring NorthEast United against Kerala Blasters.
"Gyan is well. He is back with us and training very hard. Maybe we will get a new striker in the future. Maybe in a few more days," Jarni said in a pre match conference.
Gyan's absense has seen the side struggle to score, losing the two games played when he was sidelined.
NorthEast United lost to ATK and Bengaluru FC, and in both games could not find the back of the net.
Ghana's all time leading scorer, Gyan joined the ISL side in the summer and has netted 3 goals in 7 games.
