Asante Kotoko foreign imports, George Abege and Arnold Didi Alexis want to be paid six months accumulated salary as compensation before terminating their contracts.
But the Porcupine Warriors are proposing a three-month salary payoff which has been rejected.
The duo is regarded as surplus to requirements at the club and have no future at the club.
New coach Maxwell Konadu is not willing to work with them for the 2019/20 season.
Abege, who is a Ugandan, signed for the Porcupine Warriors from Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks in July last season.
Ivorian Alexis also joined in July on a free transfer after the expiration of his contract at AS Togo Port.
