Ghanaian winger Evans Mensah has expressed delight on his loan switch from Al Duhail to Portuguese side Portimonense.
The Black Meteors star made a quick return to Europe after joining the Portuguese side just three weeks after joining Qatari side Al Duhail.
"Happy to join Portimonenseon loan from my parent club Al Duhail SC in Qatar. It’s a new move and I am looking forward to working with everyone at this great club," he posted on Twitter.
The former HJK Helsinki attacker will be expected to help the struggling Portuguese side avoid relegation, as they languish 16th in the 18 team Portuguese Primeira Liga.
The ex-Inter Allies player enjoyed a successful three year stint with Helsinki after moving to Europe from the Tema based club.
The 21-year old was also a product of the Right to Dream Academy.
He joins compatriot Emmanuel Hackman, who is already on the books of Portimonense.
