As the world continues to battle against the Coronavirus pandemic, Christian Atsu has given hope to millions around the world through his post.
The Ghana and Newcastle United midfielder in a post on his official page has given hope to fans in the wake of the outbreak with a photo of former South African president Nelson Mandela who was in isolation for 27 years.
As indicated by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on some of the measures in staying safe amid the Covid-19 outbreak is self isolation and staying indoors.
Atsu through his post encourage his fans to emulate Nelson Mandela by practicing self isolation in order to stay safe.
“In isolation for 27 years. No family, luxuries, phone. Just hope and a vision. We can do this.”
