Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko, Kennedy Boakye-Ansah has reiterated that the new board of the club will change the face of the club.
A new nine-team board of directors headed by Dr Kwame Kyei was announced with the task of restoring the pride of the club.
Other members of the board include Jude Arthur (Board Chairman for Ghana Commercial Bank), Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi (Board Chairman Ghana EXIM Bank), Kwasi Osei Ofori (Chairman Erdmark Group/CEO Rocksure Mining Ltd), Lawyer Kwamina Mensah (Corporate Lawyer), Alhaji Lamine (Businessman), Joseph Yaw Adu (Retired Director of Sports at Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology), Baffour Kwame Kusi (Otumfuo’s Ankobeahene) and Evelyn Nsiah Asare (Acting Head of Sports at Sunyani Technical University).
Despite the criticisms, Boakye-Ansah beleives the new hierarchy of the club will run the club professionally and change the face of the club.
"Let's give thanks to Otumfuo Osei Tutu for the newly constituted board for Asante Kotoko," he told Kumasi based Light FM.
"I personally know most of the members involved on the board and their love for the club is enormous, so I believe they will help change the face of the club together with Dr.Kwame Kyei," he added.
