The Acting President of Agona Traditional Council of the Ashanti Region, Nana Gyapa Ameyaw, has expressed the Council's strong belief in the policies and the possibility mantra of the Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Welcoming Dr. Bawumia to Agona in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency on Wednesday, on behalf of the Agona Traditional Council, Nana Gyapa Ameyaw, who is also the Chief of Bepoa, also expressed their admiration for Dr. Bawumia, for his commitment to the development of Ghana, as he said, was evidently clear, during the presentation of Dr. Bawumia.

"As you have all seen, throughput his address, he only focused on issues of development and how he want to move Ghana forward. He barely told us to vote for him. His main focus and concerns were on his development policies and how Ghana will move forward," said Nana Gyapa Ameyaw.

The Chief, while commending Dr. Bawumia's humility and decency, also said anybody who has had the opportunity to experience life in developed countries, knows that what Bawumia has been saying are "possible."

"Everyone admits that when it comes to humility, there is none like him. His utterances are also progressive," Nana Gyapa Ameyaw said.

"On his policies, anybody who has had the opportunity of living or visiting abroad knows that whatever Bawumia is championing and telling us are possible.

"The most important for me is his digitalisation. Those of us who grew up in the olden days really appreciate its impact. For instance, my wife lives in Accra but she teaches in Legon and abroad at the same time because of technology. She receives payments here in Ghana and abroad at the same time. And she sits here in Ghana and participates in conferences abroad.

"So this buttresses the point that everything Dr. Bawumia is saying is possible."
