The National Youth Organizer of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Ernesto Yeboah has asked critics who are demanding from the party its manifesto to go and ask General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketiah since he's the best person to explain.

The CPP is yet to launch its manifesto and vice presidential nominee. When asked to explain why the delay in the launch of the party's manifesto, Ernesto Yeboah said, Asiedu Nketiah should be consulted to answer on that score. ''Up till now we have not launched our manifesto...I think this is not the best. We don't recognize our flag bearer as the the leader of the party and so we are appealing to our party's chairman and leader to be up and doing.''

According to him, Prof. Edmund Delle is not responding to the needs of party supporters who needs logistics to embark on campaign. He accused the party's chairman of jamming the priorities of the party. He cited a congratulatory message which was issued by the chairman congratulating Wa All Stars for lifting the premier league cup.

Ernesto Yeboah said although Prof. Delle is competent, he has failed to manage the party well as he has done with his medical facility, Rabito clinic. On this he said, ''for me it comes to the point that we do not have an independent leadership of the Convention People's Party (CPP) and that is why are all these things are happening.''

On the issue of the filing fee and comments made by its flag bearer that, the party will not contest if the EC fails to reduce the amount, Ernesto Yeboah said, the candidate was not serious in making that comment. ''We are in an election year and everybody expects that whatever a presidential candidate says, is valid and serious but if certain times we do not see when you are either joking or serious, then is worrying and for us a youth wing, we are not happy with what is going on.''

The GHC 50, 000 cedis he noted doesn't make sense at all and deadly for any political party. Ernesto Yeboah went on to say that he will rather die in the fight against corruption and stand for the truth than to seek his selfish interest. He noted, ''i did not join politics to work for the NDC or NPP but i joined CPP to work for CPP to ensure that our constitution and vision will be protected.''

He mentioned names like Kwesi Pratt as one of the CPP stalwarts speaking for government instead of the CPP. According to him, the youth of the party will resist attempt by anyone to sell the party.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Hordo deputy secretary for Krowo NDC, said if Ernesto Yeboah is claiming that, the NDC is influencing some leaders of the party, then it is not serious.
