The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi have been asked to put the nation above their political interest.
Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku constituency while discussing the Airbus bribery scandal wondered why “Sammy Gyamfi who smells corruption from afar and calls for investigation would say that there is no need to find out who govt official 1 is” adding “this means the President was right in commencing an investigation…We have to look into the issue”
Dr Okoe Boye speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ further probed: “why would he be quick to say that we didn’t lose any money? Why are people putting their personal and political interests above the national interest? Why do you love your political party more than your country?
According to him, “…this country has been raped several times and so the country is not that well; so, we must ensure that rapists are deterred. There are many others who want to rape this country”
