Agya Koo, Nana Ama are highest paid in Kumawood

A new research into how much actors in Kumawood movie industry earn indicates that Agya Koo and Nana Ama McBrown are the highest paid actors in recent times.

The research indicates that the movie industry in Kumasi depicts that certain actors receive comfortable amounts of monies, and this depends on how well they are sought after by movie producers.

Agya Koo, according to the findings earns about GH¢5,000 per movie, Kwadwo Nkansah LiWin takes GHS4,000, Akrobeto GHS2,500, Kwaku Manu GHS2,000, Katawere GH1,000.

Among the actresses, Nana Ama Mcbrown receives the highest with an amount of about GHS2,500, Vivian Jill and Emelia Brobbey follow with GHS2000, Mercy Asiedu receives between GHS2,000 and GHS1500, with actress Kyeiwaa charging not less than GHS1500.

These figures were given to Flex newspaper by Michael Ola, movie producer and PRO of FIPAG.

Apparently, these movie stars gain quite a lot because in Kumawood movies are frequently produced , attesting to the fact that Kumawood producers and directors are very hard working and pay keen attention to their work.

Movie stars live quite luxuriously in recent times and to meet their demands they have no option than to put much effort in their works and not relax their oars.
